Autumn Yellows
The woodlands of South Mountain, located in the Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley, offer plenty of artistic opportunities in the autumn season. Here is a cluster of trees in full autumn yellows. I used a very rapid draw back of the camera while delicately moving the lens in a downward angle simultaneously. This helps create abstractness while maintaining some details in the tree trunks. Utilizing a wide-angle lens, with a bit of zoom, creates slightly out of focus edges on the final print. This helps draw the eye to the center of the image where the yellows really stand out.
